    Pere Marquette Park
    This city park, located on Lake Michigan, offers a wide expanse of beach, playground and volleyball courts, as well, a restaurant, access to lighthouses and the Muskegon Channel. The park is also the site of the USS Silversides, a World War II Submarine. There is a full service restaurant and bar conveniently located close by and the park has no entrance fee.

    Duck Lake State Park

    Duck Lake Park consists of 728 acres of day-use area. The landscape is mixed brush and hardwood forest that stretches from Duck Lake to Lake Michigan. The park features hunting, beach houses, swimming, fishing, picnic areas, hiking, boat access and snowmobile trails.

    Muskegon State Park

    Situated along two miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, Muskegon State Park has been ranked amongst the most beautiful in the world. Featuring both winter and summer activities such as luge, camping, cross-county skiing, picnicking areas and fishing. Many festival and concerts are home to the park.

    This park is day-use only and connects with Pere Marquette Beach and has biking and hiking trails. There are four separate shelters that can be rented for private parties or weddings.
